Andy AlbrightPresident & CEO of NAA"The opportunity for new agents is greater now than it was five and a half years ago when we started...Today's agents will not have to endure nearly the same amount of struggles that we experienced in the early years. We have learned a lot, and we are more than willing to share our knowledge with anyone who's interested in joining us in the insurance world."
Barry ClarksonSecretary & Treasurer - Leadership Development Director of NAA"In my 28 years in this business, no one has been more surprised than myself at the rapid success our agents and managers have experienced the last 6 years. Combining quality leads with quality agents was the formula NAA used to write over 100 million in life business its 4th year after inception."

Income Projections

We know that sometimes, numbers speak louder than words. The following are projections of what part- and full-time agents can make. The projections are based on experiences by both top agents and NAA founders since 2002. These projections are not theoretical “guesstimations.” Instead, they’re real results from agents. Your calculations may differ because of various different reasons; including how closely you follow our program. Because of these factors, we can’t guarantee your results will match the numbers below. Please note that in the examples below, the monthly income (on policy issue) results from how our commission works. We receive a average of 80% advanced commission when the policy is issued, while the remaining 20% is dispersed in the final months of the first year after the policy is issued. The later commission of 20%, or “back-end” income, is also included in the total annualized income. Please note income projections do not include lead costs, or other business expenses.

Part-Time General Agent – $42,000/yr.

24 NAA Leads per month + (15-20 hours per week) = 9 families helped per month and $3,500 per month to you

This is the perfect position for newer agents or older people looking for a profitable and satisfying part-time job!

  • Given 24 leads/month for part-time effort
  • If 40% of leads yield an appointment then 24 leads per month will yield 10 appointments.
  • You experience a 25% cancellation rate equals 2 appointments canceled, the result is 8 appointments/month
  • Given 8 appointments/month:
    • About 50% of your appointments will result in 2 applications due to married couples solidifying a protection plan. That will yield 12 applications/month
  • Premium per plan is currently averaged as 67$/month
  • Assume a 25% cancellation/no-take portion of submitted apps which results in 9 applications that are issued and retained policies:
    • Average annualized premium of $804 per Application * 9 Apps = $7,236 of monthly issued business.
    • Based on a 55% commission rate the result is: ($7,236 *.55 *.8) = $ 3,183 on issue of policies plus $796 (20% hold back) = $3,979/Mo working 48 weeks a year (you take 4 weeks off a year) equates to an annual gross income of:
      • $43,769/Yr gross income PART-TIME working 15-20 hours per week (Lead sales only)
      • If you work referrals and sell only two more appointments per month, your income moves to: $53,506.20/Yr gross income

Full-Time General Agent - $68,000/yr.

40 NAA Leads + (20-25 hours of work per week) = 14 families protected and $5,393 gross per month to you and your family!

A rung up the income ladder for those who want more for results for their efforts!

  • 10 leads a week for a full-time effort If 40% of leads result in appointments, then 40 leads per month will give you 16 appointments.
  • Usually you experience a 25% cancellation rate, which yields 4 appointments canceled. You’ll still have 12 appointments/month
  • If you make 12 appointments/month:
    • About 50% of your appointments will yield 2 applications due to married couples securing a protection plan. This will result in 18 applications/month
    • The average monthly premium per plan is $67/month
  • If you experience a 25% cancellation/no-take rate of submitted apps which yields 14 applications that become issued and retained policies:
    • Average annualized premium= $804 per application * 14 Apps = $11,256 of monthly issued business.
    • Based on a 55% commission rate the result is: ($11,256 *.55 *.8) = $4,952 on issue of policies plus $1,238 (20% hold back) = $6,190/Mo working 48 weeks a year (you take 4 weeks off a year) equates to an annual gross income of:
      • $68,092 gross income FULL-TIME working 20-25 hours per week (Lead sales only)
      • If you push your referrals and sell just two more appointments per month, your income increases to: $77,827/Yr gross income

Hiring Agent – $136,500/yr.

40 NAA Leads + 10 agents = 129 families helped and $11,458 gross per month to you

A tremendously significant advance in your income and career!

  • As a Hiring Agent you hire 5 part-time agents making $3,500 per month and 5 full-time agents making $5,393 per month as shown in the previous examples.
  • As a new Hiring Agent you earn a promotion to a 60% contract which gives you an override income of 5% on all your agents:
    • 5 part-time agents: ($7,236 *.05 *.8) = $289 + $72 (20% hold back) = $362 * 5 agents = $1,809/Mo gross override income.
    • 5 full-time agents: ($11,256 *.05 *.8) = $450 + $113 (20% hold back) = $563 * 5 agents = $2,816/Mo gross override income
    • Total gross override income per month: $4,625
  • You are still writing personal business full-time running 10 leads/week so you will close the same as your full time agents, but you are at the 60% contract so your commission is higher: ($11,256 *.60*.8) = $5,402 + $1,351 (20% "back end" income) = $6,752/Mo gross income on your own personal production.
  • Since you did over $75,000 total issued annualized premium (AP) as a group, you are now eligible to receive the General Agents Bonus.  For $103,716 of issued business that would come to about $1,037 per month.
  • So your total gross income per month is: $6,752/Mo personal production plus $4,625/Mo override income plus your GA Bonus of $1,037/Mo equals $12,414/Mo or for a 48 week work year (you take 4 weeks off a year) equals
    • $136,554/Yr gross income (Lead sales only)
    • If you teach your agents to work referrals and they sell only one more appointment per week, your income moves to: $157,949/Yr net income

Agency Manager - $1,000,000+ /yr.

0 NAA Leads + 10 Hiring Agents = 1,290 families helped and $95,598 per month to you

Luxury and financial security for the rest of your life!

  • As an Assistant Manager you find 10 people who want to become Hiring Agents that make $137,496 gross income per year as illustrated above.
  • As a new Assistant Manager you have an average 5% override over your General Agents:
    • 10 Hiring Agents producing $103,716 of placed annualized premium per month equals $1,037,160/Mo * 5% override = $51,858/Mo
    • You earn your General Agents Bonus of about $50,170.50/Mo (see the GA Bonus schedule)
    • BTW - you've retired from writing personal production to spend more time with your family and on the golf course.
  • So your total gross income per month is: $51,858/Mo override income plus $50,170/Mo in bonus income equals $99,129/Mo or for a 48 week work year equals:
    • $1,122,308/Yr gross income (Lead sales only)
    • If you teach your agents to work referrals and they sell only two more appointments per month, and adding in award trips that you would earn at your level with this type of production credit your income moves to over $1,396,472/Yr gross income.
